Our Board of Trustees

Our Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall control of and establishing the strategic direction of Podium. The Board comprises of a Chair and three Independent Non-Executive Trustees with a mix of skills and experience and a common desire to create a safer world of sport.

Trustees are appointed for an initial term of three years, following which they may be reappointed for further terms of three years. All Trustees work for Podium on a voluntary basis.

The Board meets at least six times per year to monitor the delivery of Podium’s charitable objects, review our strategies and policies and support the Chief Executive Officer and the Senior Management Team.

The day-to-day operation of Podium and responsibility for delivering the strategic plans as set by the Board of Trustees is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management Team. The Senior Management Team reports to the Chief Executive Officer, who in turn reports to the Chair of the Board of Trustees.
